Taken 3 Episode 1

The episode mentions the Hydian Way, a hyperspace route that connects the Corporate Sector of space with the rest of the galaxy, from the Core Worlds to the Outer Rim. This bit of worldbuilding was first introduced in the now non-canon Legends continuity.

Taken 3 Episode 1

In the present, Will continues to try and find Lyra, who has obviously been taken by Mrs Coulter last episode. Using the Subtle Knife and the alethiometer, Will tirelessly looks for his companion but to no avail. As it turns out, Lyra has been taken to a stony refuge right by the coast, a hidden house.

Beyond that little quip though, His Dark Materials returns with a solid chapter that promises plenty of action and thrills to come in the weeks ahead. Given this show has a strange release schedule, with the BBC dropping all episodes in one go next Sunday compared to the HBO releasing 2 episodes at once, the final season of this series feels a bit all over the place.

The episode starts out with Rick and his family sitting in a booth at an old fashioned American diner, Shoney's, talking about Rick's escape from space prison. Rick smells a rat and orders Jerry to fold himself over 12 times. "Jerry" only manages to contort himself into six folds, revealing that this is, in fact, a simulation based on Rick's memories.

Fear the Walking Dead returned Sunday night with one of the show's best episodes to-date. It's a surprisingly good comeback to a show that seemed all but lost by the end of its second season. Indeed, I'd say the season 3 premiere was more entertaining than all but the best episodes of The Walking Dead's seventh season.

We begin pretty much right where we left off at the end of Season 2. Madison (Kim Dickens) Travis (Cliff Curtis) and Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) are taken by the same people who fired on Nick (Frank Dillane) and his band of Mexicans at the end of last season. They're led to a compound where they're separated. Travis is taken and locked up in a room with a bunch of other people, all either male or brown-skinned. Alicia and Madison are locked in an office, where they meet Troy (Daniel Sharman.)

She takes Troy out into the compound where she's immediately surrounded by armed men. Meanwhile, Alicia is off looking for a getaway vehicle. Nick and Lucia escape into the sewers, while the prisoner that brought them there is shot and then has his throat cut. The soldiers send him into the sewers as a zombie hunter. Travis is recaptured and taken to "the pit" where he's pitted against a couple dozen zombies, with only cinder blocks and rebar as weapons.

The pacing was pretty much perfect throughout the episode, with a good slow boil right from the beginning as we learned just what was going on in this strange compound. It's even more interesting that Troy and his people are just one faction in a larger organization. Jake seems to be a completely different kind of person than his brother. It'll be interesting to see what their father is like. That he allows Troy to run free and do whatever sadistic things he likes doesn't bode well.

Last week's review of The Mandalorian season 3 episode 1 highlighted how Chapter 17 was built to let audiences know what had changed during The Book of Boba Fett, what the next step in Din Djarin's journey was, and why we loved this show in the first place. It was a lot to tackle within 30 minutes, and while everything clicked together and delivered classic Star Wars fun, the episode felt largely unfocused and too fast at times.

With Chapter 18 'The Mines of Mandalore,' Jon Favreau immediately justifies such an odd premiere and quickly gets to work on the Mandalore plot. In fact, a good chunk of what we thought would take up most of season 3 has now been resolved, leaving the remaining six episodes in mostly unknown territory for fans and casual viewers alike.

At this point, we think it's important to underline how good this episode looks. Mind you, The Mandalorian is a consistently nice-looking TV series crafted by a team of professionals that make the budget sing, but Rachel Morrison's (the cinematographer behind Mudbound and Black Panther) touch can be felt all over Chapter 18, making it one of the most cinematic pieces of Star Wars television so far. We hope she returns to direct more The Mandalorian episodes for season 4 and beyond.

Electric Sheep is the first episode and season premiere of the third season of The Orville. The crew of the USS Orville deals with the wounds left by the Battle of Earth, and not everyone is ready to move on. Meanwhile, the vessel itself undergoes an extensive refit to better prepare it for future confrontations.

The episode was first shown to a limited audience at the California Science Center on May 25, 2022, an event which included a full-size model of the Pterodon.[4] The episode's official premiere date was June 2, 2022, although the episode had actually opened in the western United States the day before.

As of August 20, 2022, the episode holds a 7.5 rating on IMDb. This is the second lowest score overall of the season, above only "Shadow Realms," but the highest of any of the show's other season premieres, above both "Old Wounds" and "Ja'loja."[5]

The episode opens to a pitched firefight in the Battle of Earth between several Planetary Union ships, including the USS Orville, against multiple Kaylon spheres. A Union ship explodes, and the Orville is heavily damaged. Marcus Finn races down one of the Orville's hallways to his family's quarters. He finds his brother, Ty Finn, and (to both of their surprise) Isaac. Isaac's head opens to reveal monstrous teeth; Marcus suddenly awakes in a cold sweat on his bed - it was a nightmare.

By May 2019, the writing team gathered to plan the story arc for this episode. Executive producers David A. Goodman wanted to explore the repercussions of Isaac's decisions in Identity, Pt. 1 and Pt. 2,[6] while showrunner Seth MacFarlane and executive producer Brannon Braga wanted to show the fallout from Kaylon's attack on the Planetary Union and what happens to Isaac.[7] They hammered out the major plot points for Electric Sheep where everyone hated Isaac,[8] and MacFarlane then filled in the gaps with a script.[1]

While reviewing the script, the writing team were sensitive to the fact that Electric Sheep was the season premiere and needed to be accessible to audiences who were new to the show. That proved difficult because the episode addressed the repercussions of Isaac's decision to remain on the USS Orville, which requires the audience to have seen Season 2. They ultimately decided to use flashbacks and characters explaining past events.[7]

By the morning of October 24, Cassar tweeted "two big days of shooting" had worn him out.[14] He filmed a scene coded "V-49M" on October 30.[15] The show continued to film even as late as November 6, shooting parts of this episode and "gathering material" for Shadow Realms, Mortality Paradox, and possibly Gently Falling Rain.[16]

Costantino later published a photograph of the sound effect cues for a storm, earthquake rumble, a "crysknife" being unsheathed (a knife from the Dune franchise), and a "horror" sound.[19] The scene in question occurred at 55 minutes into the episode,[20] so it is probably the Orville entering the cyclonic atmosphere of a planet in the Phycor system.

Tekken: Bloodline will be officially released on Thursday, August 18th, 2022, on Netflix. Only the first episode releases tomorrow, which means the series is likely following a weekly release schedule. There is nothing official about how many episodes the show will run for nor the length of the episodes. There is also no confirmation on whether the show will be receiving a second season.

"The One Where Ross And Rachel Take A Break" is the fifteenth episode of the third season of Friends, which aired on February 13, 1997. It marks the start of the 'We were on a break' era that carries on for a long time afterwards.

The gang are arrested at the scene and taken to the local police station, where Neeson's chief investigating officer grills the five "girls" in a Line of Duty-style police interrogation ("I'm actually a boy," pipes up James, who Neeson dismisses).

It's worth saying: The cold open for Miss Scarlet & the Duke's Season 3 premiere is one of the best sequences the show's ever done. Not only is the image of Eliza, Ivy, Clementine, some dude named Sampson, and Mr. Potts, of all people lining up to get mug shots taken after getting arrested genuinely hilarious, it immediately makes you, as a viewer, want to know more. How did Eliza convince all these people (Mr! Potts!) to help her with some mad scheme? Where was Moses? How did they get caught? What were they doing when they got caught?

As someone who watches entirely too much TV, I immediately assumed the rest of this episode would be a flashback to flesh out this wild, madcap caper and explain how our crew of faves all ended up in jail together. (I know, we're all incredibly tired of those "24 hours ago..." title cards, but are we really to be robbed of Mr. Potts meeting Clementine??) So perhaps it's my disappointment that this wasn't the story we ultimately got in this episode that made my reaction to "The Vanishing," and if that's the case, then it's not entirely fair. But I must admit that the mystery unfolding over this hour isn't all that interesting.

But, if you can ignore all that, "The Vanishing" Is a perfectly serviceable return to form, an episode that finds plenty of reasons for William and Eliza to share scenes while investigating a case that at least does have a reasonably unusual premise going for it. That said, when it comes to their central dynamic, much of this episode revisits familiar ground. The two bicker about sharing information, repeatedly hide things from one another, lie about it, and act generally put upon when they run into one another at various crime scene adjacent locations before finally giving up and joining forces. 041b061a72
